"The Leap is about what it takes to start out one place and end up somewhere, or someone, else ... These are stories about life's big, dramatic transformations that -- in many cases -- don't work out exactly as planned."
The Leap has released three episodes so far, and each one spotlights a different individual's make-it-or-break-it story. I was hooked after the first one, which told the story of two pranksters who risked their livelihoods to create and sell what might be the world's worst smell: Liquid ASS. They charmingly refer to it as "the smell of butt crack with a hint of dead animal." Episode one was hilarious as you might have guessed, but their story of success was surprisingly inspiring as well.
The second episode couldn't have been more different, but I found it equally as insightful. It told the heartbreaking story of two friends who lost their husbands under unexpected circumstances just days apart. Their journey to a new normal is, as the show tells it, "a testament to the power of weekly dinner dates, spreadsheets, and sandwiches."
Though it's only three episodes in, I'd highly recommend The Leap. Go check it out! And let me know what you think (especially about the first episode!) in the comments down below.
